I loathe PSU as much as the next guy but some of yinz are obsessed.

The most shocking dark humor moment I have ever seen on live television was what someone said on Fedko's nightly call-in show one time. No idea why I even happened to be watching it. But it's way too dark for this site.
I mean, why would any player with an OSU offer choose Penn State? Franklin is good at convincing them it's all going to change soon. Penn State will be in the playoffs soon. Rinse and repeat.
They actually will be in the playoffs soon. Just need to beat the 10 HS teams they play and they're in the 12 team playoffs. Next year they play at USC instead of Michigan. They also host Washington. Split those 2 and they're in.
we arent competing against psu for recruits, they are in a different league (Literally and figuratively). we have to figure out how to out recruit average acc programs first..
Correct but Wanny and Early Narduzzi beat them for recruits. We have gone from that to not even having a chance which is why I dont care about talking trash on WPIAL kids we offer if they also have PSU offers because I know we have no shot.
But they will have the annual loss Purdue or Indiana or Northwestern, etc.

i was at a usc vs bethel park high school football game one time in grade school and fedko was doing his life sideline reporting with the camera on and a high school student yelled "Fedko has a boner" and he flipped out and started screaming at the students.

Today our men’s soccer team is the Alabama of D1 soccer but yesterday was the worst program in D1.
The point is, times change, and no one outside of a few goofballs holds the school accountable for the sins of its past.
They don’t get very many players that OSU offers - they get some guys that OSU offers but doesn’t prioritize, but they do not have very many, if any, players that OSU prioritizes.
That’s why they always lose to Ohio State. Every single player on Ohio State’s roster is a guy Penn State would have killed to have. Meanwhile, maybe 10% of Penn State’s roster are guys who Ohio State wanted.
