With the bye week, it’s time to revamp the offense by shrinking Down an already Limited Playbook.
Make a change under center this week, it’s certainly not all PJ’s fault, but his time is done, time to move on.
The O-line is a mess right now, injuries make it difficult to build any continuity…but let’s settle in on a top 6.
Max protection or helping the Right Tackle with chip blocks on all pass plays moving forward ( 6 & 7 man protection)
Simple 3 man pass route concepts, with an occasional 4th man check down-leak out route.
Simple zone run blocking concepts. Two on one at point of attack, working to the 2nd level…nothing fancy.
Run the same handful of plays out of different formations & shifts (keep it basic for the Oline).
When we stop beating ourselves, then add a new wrinkle or two…but master a few basic concepts first.
