Narduzzi should have sealed his exit today. We'll obviously see how this season plays out but I think now even the most eternal optimists are concerned.
Now, let's look at Lyke . She has 2 big problems staring her in the face. One she created. One she inherited. Capel in hoops has turned into a disaster. He has a checkered history at best. The program is regressing year by year. Big contract. Lyke hired him. It's on her. #2 Narduzzi was NOT hired by Lyke. BUT she gave him the crazy extension and raises that kept him here. By doing that SHE bought the problem with Narduzzi. She owns it now. I don't care how many great Soccer and Volleyball coaches she hires, IF an AD cannot get the Football and Basketball programs right, she MUST go also. Seen enough of her to know she cannot hack it with the big sports programs. That is what Pitt needs. Time for Pitt to move on from her as well. We need a new fresh set of eyes here that aren't loyal to any of these head coaches.
