That isn’t good. That means he will have regressed. If he’s better than last year he’s leaving.
There are many ways to say he improved and still says. You're lumping a lot of assumptions into that. And if he turns into a lottery this year then I like our chances finding a top flight PG.
Assuming X is leaving and we most likely will miss on our top pg, I may be in the minority but I would seriously look at available juco pg’s. You have to have another one in the chamber and college ready. Just a thought.

There is zero need to panic unless you are in the old grizzly group that has a certain star requirement for Capel. Yes, he's on his 3rd class, but we've only seen one play. Consistently landing guys in the Top 100-200 range should be considered a good job at Pitt. I’m not sure why the angst from some people.
That’s the key there; if you opt for a grad transfer then you absolutely have to have a coachable freshman soaking up every amount of basketball knowledge there is. At this point I don’t think either Moore or Gordon would opt for Pitt even if available.

That’s true, my only point was that as a 17 year old kid getting slow played, you may have a little resentment; if indeed that’s how it all played out. Someone mentioned in another thread it may have had more to do with playing time.
People yes JC was there Top recruiter at Duke but please understand its Coach K that closes the deal because of his reputation not Jeff Caples. They are one of the Blue Bloods because of Coach K period and that happened before JC showed up.

He’s projected as a #2 pick now. The staff knows he intends on leaving. As we sit here today, what would prevent that? Injury? Bad season? No thanks. He’s likely gone. And after RJD announces for UNC tomorrow morning, we will have a lot of ground to make up with someone.
