You know what's so sad? Our parents (you know....those folks the Dems on here tout as the greatest generation) would pass up anything stamped "Made in China" and gladly pay more for the product made within the USA.

This is not how tariffs work at all. I think everyone on this board understands 9th grade economics (admittedly the the verdict is still out on NC).

My guess is that he doesn't care whether it's the importer or the consumer who effectively pays for the tariffs. He just wants to disincentive buying foreign made goods.

He keeps repeating the mistake. Which means either he doesn't understand how a tariff works or he thinks his follows are so stupid they will believe him. It's one or the other.

Joey doesn't agree with our dotard-in-chief's tariff strategy. He calls him a dotard because he's miffed that his own Party cancelled the sitting POTUS because he literally was a dotard. And that's okay. We love our Joey, even in his petulant moments.

Joey asked a question framed with insults and I answered it plainly, without insult.

Notice, I did not deflect.

He didn't accept my answer though and then doubled down on his insults. That's how he deflects.

So I responded in kind. I can insult Dem politicians just as easily as he insults GOP politicians.

You have a similar problem in that you also think you don't have to justify your contentions. As long as you persist in your delusion, don't expect me to be your enabler.
