There is no story. Nothing! He drives home! Jesus people he told the cop the truth.

If he drank two bottles of mouthwash, would you think he gets a DUI also. He was not driving poorly. Tyler forgot to use a turn signal.

HE WAS NOT INTOXICATED!!!!!

That is precisely the point!!! He consumed a very modest amount of alcohol that in no way can be considered enough to have caused a 20 year old 190 lb young man to be drunk. The 0.02 legal standard is a scientific fiction created to appease the over zealous.

One more thing. I guess Howie'81 was out of the country when Tony Johnson was arrested for DUI in 2003 while still at Penn State. I guess that was ok though? He could have killed someone Howie!!! What piece of work.

You are correct that the 0.02 standard is absurd (I do agree with a 0.04 standard though for those driving commercial vehicles). The folk that really need to be targeted are the 0.12 and beyond folk. They are the ones who are the hazards and cause nearly all the deaths. FWIW, I've lost someone to a drunk driver, so I know the deal.

That said, dumb law as it may be, Tyler should have called a cab. No need for a big punishment, just use better judgment next time.

why would that be ok? you think that's what Howie's saying? c'mon. this stuff happens everywhere. Howie knows it, you know it, I know it......everyone knows it. and it's never good.

Tony Johnson was way over the limit and was suspended 2 games, to my recollection.

Like T Johnson, this is Boyd's 1st offense and he wasn't even legally drunk and was honest about the whole ordeal. obviously, he's underage, drinking when he's not suppose to, and the worse part...was driving a vehicle......I say he gets suspended for 1 game.

He'll be alright. His draft stock goes down 0%.
