Ahh yes, JJ Moore. That was who I was thinking about also to put on that list.Keith Benjamin was the original jj Moore-
Plenty of folks fell in love with him and expected a lot because he could jump high.

How in the world was he on people's radar then when he was a HS Soph?I wish i could remember who posted about playing against Epps at Trees. Whoever the poster was claimed that there was literally nothing about him that stood out compared against the rest of the guys at trees. Who knows if that antecdote was true, but if it was, it said a lot about Epps.
It was Walter Waters who went to Cleveland State. Dodson went to Kentucky then Southern Mississippi.Mark McCaroll was pretty disappointing
Darnell Dodson and that guy that ended up at Cleveland state would end up on the all time “what the hell was that situation all about” team
It would have had to have been an exhibition as Tate was not eligible. Partial qualifiers were able to play in exhibitions at the time.Dominic Dumancic ended up at Slippery Rock I believe. I knew a prof who counseled him. He was extremely emotionally challenged because for much of his time here, he literally didn't know where his family was during the disintegration of Yugoslavia.
I swear I remember Tony Tate playing, but it might have been a Blue-Gold game or an exhibition.
I think Rich Carrigan just gave up basketball. He had some health issues. His son is a TE here now.
I spent an hour or so one slow day trying to find Epps. I don't think he ever played anywhere after the juco.

Yeah, that is maybe the first time we talked. I remember reading your post the next day and it was exactly what we had been discussing. So, I figured I knew who DT was.It would have had to have been an exhibition as Tate was not eligible. Partial qualifiers were able to play in exhibitions at the time.
I remember watching Krauser play in the exhibition before his PQ year (01-02) and thking he may have been our best player.
Actually I’m referring to the Blue Gold game for Krauser—not an exhibition game. Probably the same think for Tate.Yeah, that is maybe the first time we talked. I remember reading your post the next day and it was exactly what we had been discussing. So, I figured I knew who DT was.
I think we had a brief discussion about Ghandi Jordan while walking out of the Fieldhouse some years before but it could have been somebody else.
Watching Tate could have been in a Blue-Gold scrimmage even.
Oh, I remember the Krauser game well. You must have come directly from work. You were dressed very professionally - coat, tie, trenchcoat. I thought you were a lawyer.Actually I’m referring to the Blue Gold game for Krauser—not an exhibition game. Probably the same think for Tate.
How about Brian Brush? Or Gerald Jordan?
Detrick MostellaNot a transfer, but a decommit. And not even a huge loss but it’s bugging me that his name escapes me. Haven’t been able to get it off the top of my toungue the past few days and figured DT or someone would remember.
Who was the guard ~5-7 years ago that i believe decommitted from Okie State to us that had major academic issues that we sweated out for like a year plus who ultimately ended up at Tennessee? I recall he put up some points for a year or two, but was a volume shooter. I feel like he just disappeared and didn’t play four years. I wanted to look him up.
