Sorry, I've seen enough of this dude. Put me on blast if they come back and win, but he's a backup.
What happened on the 2nd drive that went 3 and out? I stepped away. The first drive was Pickens fault on the sideline route.Sorry, I've seen enough of this dude. Put me on blast if they come back and win, but he's a backup.
The 2nd drive was like a mirror image of the first one. Pickett threw to the left sidelines incomplete to a blanketed Austin. What happened on the 2nd drive that went 3 and out? I stepped away. The first drive was Pickens fault on the sideline route.
Austin was manhandled by the Raves CB and couldn’t come back to the ball. But it was … a flawed play design … as the entire game has been so far. What happened on the 2nd drive that went 3 and out? I stepped away. The first drive was Pickens fault on the sideline route.
I’m told Head coaches don’t have anything to do with coachingYeah, this will never change with Status Quo Boy under the headset. That practice in pads has saved the season!!!!!

They really are bad … it does not help how CBS showed WR separation on that third down and there was literally 0 separation … I hate saying this but they miss Johnson as though he drops passes, he gets open.Omg the play calls… so bad, Cignetti is laughing (or taking notes)
There are problems on the offense and they are many….What kinds of routes are those WRs running where they just stop and turn around? Lol.
Best DB for the Steelers today …Zay Flowers keeping the Steelers in this
It’s possible they think Pickett is incapable of hitting a receiver on the move. It’s possible he truly cannot, either. It wasn’t a strength of his at Pitt until a few good games in 21.They really are bad … it does not help how CBS showed WR separation on that third down and there was literally 0 separation … I hate saying this but they miss Johnson as though he drops passes, he gets open.

Even their worst guy is better than oursBest DB for the Steelers today …
I tend to think it is more the play calls than Pickett because none of it seems to make sense even with Pickett’s strengths. The insistence to move a right handed guy left is bizarre, along with habitually packing the offense tight on first and second down when it is clear Pickett is much more comfortable with a spread field. It’s possible they think Pickett is incapable of hitting a receiver on the move. But it seems far more likely the receivers aren’t fast enough / good enough route runners plus cannot get separation. But then who knows because the play calls don’t require it.
It’s all bad
He is one of the problems though. So I wish they’d call the bluff and put in Mitchie. I’m no hypocrite, it was right to bench Jurkovec and it might be right to yank Pickett. It’s often a desperate change to yank the QB, but it IS a change and when what you’re doing has failed for an entire season, you owe the fans the effort to change somethingPickett is like 4th on the list of offensive problems below stuff like Oline, bad WR routes & separation and most of all Matt Canada….

That just isn't going to happen..we have at least 15 games before the Steelers would think of that. And as bad as he's looked that's probably fair.. if you believed in him enough to take him round one at least give him two seasons of games to see what he has.He is one of the problems though. Nobody says the change needs to be permanent. You try it to shake things up. Freaking Terry Bradshaw was benched … multiple times. That just isn't going to happen..we have at least 15 games before the Steelers would think of that. Same advice for Narduzzi as well…Nobody says the change needs to be permanent. You try it to shake things up. Freaking Terry Bradshaw was benched … multiple times.
