Lamont Wade will be taking a Final Official Visit to Pitt

Honestly I've been more tuned into the Wade fiasco than a lot of people recently. I would absolutely love for him to go to Pitt but it seems that Wade's OV with PSU really swayed things, and Pitt won't really get that chance if he isn't there this weekend. They think PSU has a better education, which is completely false. Not to discredit Narduzzi, I just think the Wade family is set on PSU and isn't really giving him a fair chance if they visit UCLA instead of Pitt.
Not a damn thing Narduzzi could do about it then. Have to go find the next man that can help the team and who wants to be here.

-His old man doesnt like Pitt. Because his ole man doesnt like Pitt fans. His old man is also a nobody. Robert Foster had an NFL dream too. His ole man destroyed it. Hey Foster, how is the bench this year? Because your ole man is now a cheerleader for alabama and you suck.

To be fair, maybe Foster is just not good enough to make it in the NFL.

Regarding the "Visiting UCLA/Pitt" this weekend, isn't he playing in the state championship game this weekend? It certainly would make it hard to get out to LA. I could see an official to Pitt, but not sure how UCLA would fit into the time frame.

Don't let facts get in the way....some folks like to pray for rain when the weather forecast is clear and sunny.

you keep mentioning this. i agree with it to a degree. but, overall its a numbers game. narduzzi has not done well with local recruiting this year. a lot of misses with the top end guys. the hit rate was one player, with him and hamlin being a packaged deal. maybe the overall strategy needs some tweaking. its a bottom line business, no prizes for 2nd or 3rd place.

Well, his game is at 1:00 PM on Friday in Hershey and assume the game is over by 4:00PM. The Harrisburg airport is about 15 minutes from the stadium and American Airlines has a 6:19PM flight out through Chicago which could put him in LAX at 11:07PM. Since Harrisburg is a small airport you only need to arrive about 45 minutes early to be able to make it through security.

I don't want to see him make the trip but it is actually very easy to do...

The bottom line is wins and losses. It does not matter where they come from as long as they can play. Narduzzi is not the problem.

Unless he gets talent from other places. I don't care if Western PA kids come to Pitt. Get good players who will have success.

You're right, it is a possibility. Just think it would be a little strange for someone to go directly from the game to the airport without celebrating a state championship with teammates, doing interviews, etc. to take a trip out to LA to a school who, by all indications, seems to not really be a player in his recruitment.

I never thought he was visiting. I was just pointing out that his championship game would in no way stop him from making a trip to LA. Although I didn't check, there are probably flights leaving later that night and of course there are many flights that will be leaving Saturday morning from both Harrisburg and Pittsburgh airports. You were the smart guy who posted "Don't let facts get in the way" in response to a poster that thought the logistics would be difficult this weekend.

Wow, went straight to being adversarial when trying to have a conversation.
