Long layoff

10 days between the last game and the next; then 9 days. Concern? Glad that they are both @ home and against teams we should beat. But it seems like an eternity
Does seem like forever. That said, it puts us 10 days closer to Dunn's return, while not having to worry about losing without him during that span. Maybe he's progressing ahead of schedule!!

If we lose to Sammy H or Cal at home, then we are in trouble
We aren’t losing to Sam Houston. I feel if we go 12-8 in ACC no matter who the wins or losses are we are easily in and likely a 7 seed.

And again, this doesn’t change the fact I think it’s stupid as hell that a non conference can basically lock you in as long as you don’t fully implode in conference

Mentioned this in another thread last week--others said we have this kind of layoff every year during the holidays. Maybe. This seems longer than usual to me. I know Dunn is injured but I would rather see us playing consistently. Hoping he is back sooner rather than later but I wouldn't be surprised if he misses all of January.

you do realize the next game after SH is another monstrous gap of 11 days

I don't think it matters much, obviously lets Dunn loss impact us less and I think Pitt will be as read as needed, maybe better than ever with energy at 100+% for each

Gave the young lads some time to catch up on their all important studies...Academics first I always say.
