I cringed looking at that and then remembered I am an ECU fan too and live in town, am an alum and season ticket holder. A team known for offense over the years. Used to put up 50 on a regular basis when Lincoln Riley was here, put up 70 on UNC with Lincoln Riley as OC. We have a coach in year 5 who is more stubborn than Pat Narduzzi. Tries to run the ball with no OL, didnt get a transfer QB knowing he had nobody with any talent. Barely used the portal at all. He is a mini PN. Name is Mike Houston. Wears a shirt 2 sizes too small to look big. Insults fans. When the team was playing poorly a couple years ago he told all the fans to "go fly a kite".

47 points at 11. 75 per game. I am stuck watching the 2 worst offensive teams in the country every week. God is punishing me for something.

Yes. It’s one thing if they were rolling with a freshman QB with promise, but who was making mistakes right now. Fans can live with that.

But Jurkovec stunk coming in from the beginning too. He had shown no hint of upside in THREE YEARS of college ball. He failed at two different schools already; the only decent game he ever had was, of course, against Narduzzi’s awful defense.

Maybe that’s what is clouding this idiot’s judgement. Maybe the only game Duz ever actually saw this guy play was the BC game against us, and the success couldn’t POSSIBLY have been because HIS defense sucked. Right? So Jurk MUST be awesome.

Our situation is also different than most because the OC might be at least as much of the problem as the QB, but they were a package deal! So it’s likely BOTH of them need to go. However, it’s mid season and Pitt won’t spend the money or the effort to fire the OC, but they CAN bench the other part of the cancer. The fact that he refuses to do so is what has fans infuriated. Fans are the customers and have every right to expect, DEMAND, that the employees try everything in their power to deliver a better product. Are the backups better products? Who the hell would know? He hasn’t tried them in games. They likely get next to no reps in practices. How the hell would HE know? “I trust the coach’s judgement”. His judgement has been bowel movement on this topic! We should be more apt to trust the OPPOSITE of his judgment as this point.

It doesn’t flunking matter because from top to bottom this school doesn’t give a FK about football or winning. It’s been that way since 1985. This program should be on it’s KNEES in thanks that it still has fans and we’re still passionate enough to be pissed off.

But that passion can only last so long. Of this isn’t changing, this university will be severely punished where it hurts most, the financials. No more attendance this year. No donations. No sales next year. Totally empty stands next season. And it’s totally deserved
