This is one of those games that give you a bad feeling. Pitt should have done better a few minutes ago and could/should have had another goal. Instead, they have another ball cleared off line and NCSU comes down a couple minutes later and get their first shot on goal.

Totally dominated the first 40 minutes. Then, let NC State back in the match. GK and poor shooting by NC State saved us. Then we dominated the OT and got the winner.

Are we always that left-handed? Almost every attack was down the left side.

My thoughts exactly. Then...

(I know nothing about soccer). It seemed we decided to try to win 1-0 and were being lackadaisical about it. With no one near our defenders, instead of advancing the ball we keep back tapping it to the keeper. Our keeper does not have a strong leg. I didn't like what I was seeing. Thought it only a matter of time till they scored. I was right.

My thoughts exactly. Then...

(I know nothing about soccer). It seemed we decided to try to win 1-0 and were being lackadaisical about it. With no one near our defenders, instead of advancing the ball we keep back tapping it to the keeper. Our keeper does not have a strong leg. I didn't like what I was seeing. Thought it only a matter of time till they scored. I was right.

It didn’t help that Kizza was not in the game for most of that half it seemed.

Also as much as I like soccer, I don't follow college soccer. How do subs work? Only 3 and once you're out, you're out? I know the clock is "Americanized."

nope, first half once you are subbed out you are out for the half, second half you may reenter once. So, unlimited subs (or how many players you have on your team).
