Moe-bservations NCAAT play-in game vs Ms St @ Dayton

-- March Madness has arrived!
-- Nelly Cummings played all 40 minutes, and took over the PG role after Burton's fouls
-- 11 bench points for us --> 6 for them (all Nike)
-- 4 blocked shots with no Fede. The twins played tough
-- Never quit
-- Pitt shot their 3's the way we knew they would, and so did the Bulldogs (26%)
-- Effective enough on D, but the rebounding disadvantage almost was the difference
-- Need to make our FT's; I hope this won't continue into the next game(s)
-- Effective TO's; Coach was quoted by the TruTV sideline reporter of keeping the team focused
-- 1-0 in the tournament; Greensboro awaits; hope we have as good a support there as we seemed to have in Dayton (I heard a lot of cheers from the Pitt crowd down the stretch)
-- Survive and advance

• It’s all gravy for this group from here on out
• I had msu, no way thought Pitt could win a game minus Fede
• Burton is so strong mid range, should have gotten more All American mention
• Hinson has hit so many big shots this year
• Remarkable to me they got to 23
• Also interesting to see how many locally actually follow Pitt bb and that a lot root against them
