His talent alone would be awesome on the Steelers but this kid could be all time great in interviews.
He’s a cut above other backs. If this guy is available the Steelers have to take him. Then go about building a line in front of him.Blowing his ass up. Lol. Incredible that he held on to that ball caught near the goal line. absorbed the hit and was still on his feet.
If Jones can improve his athleticism just a little bit, then I think he has a pretty good NFL career ahead of him.Mac Jones is very accurate. I would love to see the Steelers work out a trade to draft him but Najee Harris would be a good pick also.
Maybe. Maybe not. Steelers are drafting at 24. If he is there they need to take him.He won't be available for the Stillers.
He fit pretty nicely into Sark's RPO scheme. Big physical guy who's great in space and can get down the field as a receiver vertically..Najee was probably more talented than any college runner when he was a senior in HS. If he stays healthy, teams could go back to vintage 90's/00's football and still win big.
I believe Leatherwood is who they will draftBetween Jones, Harris, and Dickerson/Leatherwood, we basically need the entire Alabama offense!
We can do both. Don’t let this guy get away. Draft him then draft to improve the line. In a year or two the sticks all of a sudden will be easier to move.I really like this kid but I am convinced it won't matter who is running the ball if we don't get better and younger on the OL and get rid of this clown coaching them. He is no where near Munchek good. Did you see how the Browns tossed them around?

Would like to get Harris or Etienne if available, but they will almost certainly go OL. I wouldn't mind them trading down and picking up another pick. They need to get younger at several positions. Could use a couple OL, RB, QB, TE, and always could use DBs.
I don't think the team can do wrong in selecting Harris. They need help everywhere, tailback included.
Between age and free agents, they really should be drafting BPA.
If you wanted to know my personal wish. I'd wish Larry Fitzgerald wanted to coach (pipe dream), bring him in to teach some humility to that group.

But would they listen?
Harris is special. The exact type of player the Steelers would want. He could excel with a average to good line. His footwork in the hole reminds me of another Harris the Stillers took in the first round more than a few years back.Harris is really, really good, but you can find quality RB's later in the draft. The Steelers have so many other more pressing needs I wouldn't go RB in round 1.
Not so sure. Running backs have not been drafted in the upper half of the 1st round in the last few years. He won't be available for the Stillers.
Harris reminds me of L. Bell. Size, strength, cutting ability, catching ability.

Honestly I think Harris' overall talent level is light years beyond Bell.Harris reminds me of L. Bell. Size, strength, cutting ability, catching ability.
Hell Derek Henry was a second rounder. The really good ones have been. Zeke, Barkley, Gurley and Fournette have all been picked high recently. Last year Edwards-Helaire was the first back taken at 32 and in 2019 it was Jacobs at 24. Neither were coveted as the guys in that first group though. Harris is, but so is Etienne, who almost everyone had as RB1 before the playoff. So it isn’t inconceivable that Harris falls that far if some teams like Etienne better.
I'm not sure I would draft this particular Bama QB until the 3rd round or beyond. But I wouldn't shy away from drafting the right Bama QB. They get the cream of the crop and they are well coached.I am never drafting an Alabama QB. They have such a talent disparity that Mac can sit back and take his time and throw to wide open WRs 99% of the time.
