Najee Harris

Blowing his ass up. Lol. Incredible that he held on to that ball caught near the goal line. absorbed the hit and was still on his feet.

Mac Jones is very accurate. I would love to see the Steelers work out a trade to draft him but Najee Harris would be a good pick also.

If Jones can improve his athleticism just a little bit, then I think he has a pretty good NFL career ahead of him.

Najee was probably more talented than any college runner when he was a senior in HS. If he stays healthy, teams could go back to vintage 90's/00's football and still win big.

He fit pretty nicely into Sark's RPO scheme. Big physical guy who's great in space and can get down the field as a receiver vertically..

I really like this kid but I am convinced it won't matter who is running the ball if we don't get better and younger on the OL and get rid of this clown coaching them. He is no where near Munchek good. Did you see how the Browns tossed them around?

Yeah. Pipe dream. Theyre losing 3/5th of an already aging and terrible OL. There is no way on planet earth they dont go OL in fhe 1st round.

Harris would be terrific for the Steelers but they desperately need to upgrade the talent on the offensive line. The second is the money round to find a stud running back.

We can do both. Don’t let this guy get away. Draft him then draft to improve the line. In a year or two the sticks all of a sudden will be easier to move.

Would like to get Harris or Etienne if available, but they will almost certainly go OL. I wouldn't mind them trading down and picking up another pick. They need to get younger at several positions. Could use a couple OL, RB, QB, TE, and always could use DBs.

yeah, no. dude was surrounded by a NFL offense this year. there's no way you can judge him accurately.

and spare me the brady nonsense. brady was skinny but not a fatass at 21 years old.

Harris is really, really good, but you can find quality RB's later in the draft. The Steelers have so many other more pressing needs I wouldn't go RB in round 1.

Agree 1000%

This team needs help everywhere. They need more picks.

Between age and free agents, they really should be drafting BPA.

I agree. Because of the age of the offense, there is really no cornerstone to build around offensively. Just draft the best available. Make that early draft pick the future cornerstone.

Defensively, they need solutions just about everywhere. Again, I'm not sure who the cornerstone is? But, I'd try to shore up the safety position opposite of the Bama kid. THe VT kid is horrendous, a total liability in both the run as a tackler and most definitely against the pass. Sad thing is, Tomlin is supposed to be a DB guy and the last 2 guys he's drafted at that position - (Edmunds/Shamarko) have been total duds. No one had Edmunds going that high.

If you wanted to know my personal wish. I'd wish Larry Fitzgerald wanted to coach (pipe dream), bring him in to teach some humility to that group.

I am never drafting an Alabama QB. They have such a talent disparity that Mac can sit back and take his time and throw to wide open WRs 99% of the time.

Think McShay had Leatherwood in 2nd or 3rd based on in-game comment vs ND. The big guard next to him is round 1.

Harris is special. The exact type of player the Steelers would want. He could excel with a average to good line. His footwork in the hole reminds me of another Harris the Stillers took in the first round more than a few years back.

Harris reminds me of L. Bell. Size, strength, cutting ability, catching ability.

The Steelers have too many holes to draft a RB in the 1st round and you can find good value in another round.

Not so sure. Running backs have not been drafted in the upper half of the 1st round in the last few years.

The really good ones have been. Zeke, Barkley, Gurley and Fournette have all been picked high recently. Last year Edwards-Helaire was the first back taken at 32 and in 2019 it was Jacobs at 24. Neither were coveted as the guys in that first group though. Harris is, but so is Etienne, who almost everyone had as RB1 before the playoff. So it isn’t inconceivable that Harris falls that far if some teams like Etienne better.

Hell Derek Henry was a second rounder.

I'm not sure I would draft this particular Bama QB until the 3rd round or beyond. But I wouldn't shy away from drafting the right Bama QB. They get the cream of the crop and they are well coached.

I would be leary of taking any QB not named Trevor Lawrence in this draft. Fields would be the second name I'd consider but I am not confident he will succeed in the NFL. The rest will get drafted, some early, but I don't think any of them are safe picks to fill a roster need. More like luxury picks for a team that can afford to swing and miss.
