Next year’s @CFBPlayoff title odds via @LVSuperBook:
Bama 5/2
Clem 6/1
UGA, OhSt 8/1
Mich 10/1
PSU 12/1
OU 18/1
Aub, Miami, MichSt, Tex, Wis 25/1
LSU, Wash 30/1
FSU, ND, Stan, USC, VT, WVU 40/1
A&M 50/1
UF, Ore, TCU 60/1
Ariz, Boise, KSU Mizzou, NCSt, OkSt, UCLA, Utah, Wake 100/1

At first glance it appears that Michigan is extremely overrated. 2 Acc Coastal teams in there. I would probably have Auburn and FSU higher. They both get their QBs back and always have talent.

Wow - the defending Champs aren't even 100:1?

Perhaps Vegas fears that the mighty Pittsburgh Panthers will be knocking them off early?

They are all sucker bets.

At this point absolutely correct. Hold percentages on futures bets way too high and no overlays to be found yet. Best time to bet these is right after a team loses a game, line usually adjusted too much.

Michigan has as much chance winning the national title as does Robert Morris.
Harbaugh is gaining weight at an alarming rate...a sure sign of stress.
He is a heart attach waiting to happen. Sometimes it's best to not go home.

One isn’t.

Alabama.

Michigan at 10-1 is a total joke. They will be very lucky to finish in the top 25. maybe the oddsmakers set that one artificially low knowing that Michigan has a gigantic and wealthy national fan base and plenty of slappies who will put $100 or more on their favorite team at 10-1. The real odds for UM to win at all would be more like 100-1.

They are sort of a public team so you’re going to get action on them no matter what, so the odds start low.

Even in years when the Cubs were lousy you would see them open at comparatively low odds because you automatically knew you’d get 100k on them just in $10 and $20 tickets.

This shows what they think of us lol.

And the big year you all claim in 2019, our odds won't be better, why, it's either coaching or recruiting stinks, excuses go!!!!

Harbaugh is doing a good job there. They need to get off his ass. They were replacing about 16 or 17 starters this year. He's 28-11.

Harbaugh had 11 players drafted in the 2017 draft and only had a 9-3 record with that talent. He came in third in his division with 9 players drafted in the first 4 rounds. If I were a Michigan fan I wouldn't be too happy with him.

I really don't see Michigan or psu winning it alll. Pretty bad choices at those odds.

So this roughly translates to PSU being ranked #5 after losing everyone except Trace McSorely and Juwan Johnson? I know they've recruited well but that's a whole lot of respect they are getting there.

Psu so high probably has something to do with the size of their fan base like Michigan. They are losing their whole defense, and Trace is a nice player but we'll see how he does without defenses keying on Saquon.

Bama wins over 50% of the time and with all those true freshmen making plays last night, they seem like a pretty safe bet.

Way better off hoping Alabama loses a game somewhere along the way and hitting the adjusted odds at a higher price. We’ve already seen that a 1 loss Alabama is going to get into the playoff, so it makes a lot more sense to wait for a better number.

Hasn't defeated a team with a winning recird since 2016.

If you look where Michigan has been since 2005, save Carr's 2006 team & Hoke's 2011, its hard to argue that Michigan isn't trending in the right direction. Recruiting is strong. Harbaugh's track record is strong. It's one thing to say he doesn't have Michigan rolling along like many people thought he would after 3 years. It's something totally different (and insane imo) to suggest Michigan might be better off to make a change.

Yeah 500:1 and maybe it should be lower. With UNC and Pitt as their marquee non conference games (I'd be surprised if we're better than 7-5), I don't see how they could get into the playoffs even if they won every game by two scores. I also think they'll lose several games because their new head coach has never been a head coach before...

Plenty of O$U fans would agree. Keep Harbaugh at Michigan for the long haul.

My goodness Franklin isn't even a good coach and he won the Big 10 in his third year.If I were a Michigan fan paying all that money I wouldn't be happy with Harbaugh so far.Plus he will not win his division again this year because he will not beat Osu in Columbus.

If you were a Michigan person, your peers would dump you.
Harbaugh hasn't beaten Ohio State.
Trends at Michigan are meaningless. Wins count. Rodriguez set the bar low. Hoke not much better. trending up from those two failures isn't anything to hang your hat on.
