NC Game Thread

It feels like the UNC OC in his heart doesn’t want to be what UNC is able to be successful running.

So he is constantly going away from it, and only comes back to it begrudgingly.

Except the L. U were wrong. I was right. I NEVER said such a thing. These football people did. Ummm did they not know the competition??

But that isn't what that one guy is saying. And if you are going to appeal to his authority to make your point, then yeah, it actually is what you are saying.

Simple question. Do you think that anyone really thinks that Holstein is the 6th best QB in all of college football?

Can this offense run a ball-control possession? Maybe take 5-6 minutes off the clock to let the D rest (and keep UNC and our not-effective D) off the field!

Plus if you were going to go for it on 4th down, why not give the ball to Hampton on 3rd and 6? He might get you the first down there. If he doesn't, he almost certainly makes it shorter than six yards to go on 4th.

Yep.
If UNC just came out and essentially played an old fashion Big Ten offense, I’m not sure they would have been stopped once today.

But the very thought of that causes their OC pain I guess. So he refuses.

It’s weird if you’re possibly coaching for your job to be so stubborn.

Um, it's the same defensive coordinator who oversaw quite a bit of success here. What are you supposed to do when your d linemen couldn't start for Canon Mac?
What Fn success? We only won because our offense was putting up 40 while the defense was giving up 35+. And then the knucklehead said we were scoring too much and hired a couple of slogs.

Well my question as to whether we could have a possession control drive... 5-6 mins? Negative! 3 minutes

Scoring is cool. Scoring alot will demoralize the other guys. But with this suspect Defense, man, ya' gotta try and be strategic, too. Problem is, our Oline can't establish LoS control at all

Simple answer I honestly and actually have no idea. I'm not qualified to assume what former players and coaches think of players.

How do you have an offensive series of downs where you never put the ball in Hampton’s hands?

I don’t get the UNC offense at all

We throw a screen pass with three blockers out there against three defenders. And we somehow manage to not block any of the three.
