Honestly, Ferrari is the toughest matchup in the bracket for Nino. Ferrari's ability to ride will be an important aspect of the match. I think Nino can take him down, but Ferrari can take Nino down too. Im worried that its going to come down to mat wrestling, which favors Ferarri.

ACC wrestlers take 4 finals spots. Pitt only school in the conference with multiple selections.

First, I am as happy as everyone else that Pitt has two wrestlers wrestling for a national championship. That is absolutely great.
But let’s not get carried away here about how great they actually are.
Between the two of them, they have wrestled and beaten one better seed, with only one remaining.
Wentzel nearly lost to a 30 seed. Wentzel is great if he has any kind of lead and is on top. How would you like his chances if he ever allows just two takedowns?
Wentzel beat a 30, 14, 6, 7 and will face an 8. He could have seen 30, 11, 6, 2 and 1.
Out of all of Pitt’s wrestlers, Bonacorsi is the only one who is high energy and looks capable on offense. He seems to be our only wrestler that can win even if his opponent puts up points.

Personally, I’ll choose to 100% enjoy the fact that we have 2 wrestlers in the national finals, and not worry about any detracting details. Pitt fans rarely get to enjoy this type of success. I have plenty of other things to worry about with the other sports. Go Jake and Nino!
