Kudos to the REAL leadership in the Big East. While Jim Phillips is spending 100% of his time scouting new office buildings for the league's crucial move to Charlotte, Val Ackerman has been vocal and critical of the selection process. It appears she has received a promise that the NET will change. How bout you just get rid of it? Do you need a computer to tell you that a 22-11 team from the ACC (Pitt) is better than a 20-10 team from the Mountain West? There are obviously fatal flaws with this system when the Big East only gets 3 teams in and is 6-0, the ACC gets 5 teams in, and is 8-1, and the MWC gets 6 and is 3-5 with 2 of those coming from the only legit program in that league and the other win coming over Mr. November. I am no fan of the Big East but Nova, SHU, Prov, and SJU all would have won the MWC. I dont know how you could have watched the Big East Tournament and Mountain West Tournaments and thought the MWC was better.
