Imo this is our best look in a long time. Probably since the Script 1.0 days. Coincidence? I think not 
I'm like 90% certain you guys walk around lookin like Yinzer slobs, which kinda makes the whole fashion critiquing even funnier.
How can you not like these uniforms. They look sweet!
The rest of the country loves them, so much to say they are the best uniform in the ACC. They could change it up still and improve it, like adding pant stripes. But overall it's an amazing look.
I LOVE the sleeve stripes. The numbers are a little ...eh...and the pants need a stripe but the rest of the uni works great.
I love that shade of Blue of the jerseys in the Photo, but if you scroll down Canada's Twitter Feed the other Photos show the Jerseys to be a darker shade of Blue, which I do not like. Also the #s look terrible(especially the rounded #s like 3 & 8, whereas 4 & 7 look a little better).
Also agree with other posters here that the Stripes should be put back on the pants, as when they were added recently, I was finally starting to like the uniforms, except for the Darker Shade of Blue, and do not care for the shade of Gold on the Helmets, so was wondering if that will change this year. I like the Gold on the Baylor Helmets, otherwise just go back to the Marino Era Mustard Gold Helmets.
I hope if PITT does do a Throwback Uniforms Game(and it needs to be done for the Game versus the CULT from Crappy Valley), that they just do them exactly like the Marino era and do not just mix the older colors with these new styles of uniforms(so hope PITT does not use these new styles jersey #s and put the stripes back on the pants).

From the pictures that have been floating around, they are the same uniform as the one we had from 2009-2015 except different colors and the Pitt Script instead of Block Pitt.
How are they the same? Stripes were added to the Sleeves. The Stripe that was added recently to the Pants are now removed, and the Jersey # Style is completely different. And PITT used Script Helmets last year. If anything, the Colors are the only part that might not be different(if you go by other photos and not the one shown above which does look like a nicer lighter shade of Blue, but could just be the lighting when the photo was taken, so everything is the opposite of the items that you posted.
I was talking about the throwback uniforms they are rumored to be wearing this year.
That color scheme hits the spot in the throwback. Hopefully they will be sold some where, because I will be buying at least 2.
The rounded numbers, especially the 2's, 3's...the numbers just get too thin on the curved parts. It looks like a little kid drew them on the new uniforms.
Love the throwback pic. .I don't like ones in the O.P. which means they will be very popular with the crowd that counts, which is ok by me.

I was in my early/mid 20's one time, it was a late fall and buddy picks me up to hit up the south side.. I am wearing jeans, grey wool socks with these sketcher flip flops. Thought it was ok look. Buddy looks at me and says "So we aren't trying to get laid tonight?" I went back in and changed.. still didn't pull anything out of the bars that night either..
It is near impossible to match a helmet to pants 100%.......Look around college football and if you look closely like some people on this board....you will see a slight difference in color of helmets and pants across the country....this isn't a new thing for Pitt.....obviously because of what a helmet is made of and what jersey pants are made of...
I love this excuse.. Nike has the ability to make pants more than one color.. Lets just hope we go blue pants more often than not..
Then why doesn't Nike do this, esp. for their bellcow program Alabama? It is the truth whether you want to admit it or not...

you want nike to make bama gold paints? bama wears white pants with a red stripe.. this is by design, has to be.. You cant' possibly tell me that nike is trying to match the colors and this is the best they can do.. Someone either at Pitt or nike wants extremely bright metallic gold pants because if this is the closest that nike can do, to the official gold color of our university, then they need to get the Chinese youth to work a bit harder in their factories..

The more I see them, the more I like them. At first was so/so about the #s, but now I really like them. I think it looks like classic unis. The pant stripe is the only thing missing, but I still prefer these unis over previous years, even last years, which I also liked.
The only things that could make that uniform better is if they add a stripe to the pants, make the helmet stripe go down all the way and maybe take that away jersey collar down all the way! The colors thing is water under the bridge to me. Even as is, it is the best uniform in the ACC.
Also, I wouldn't mind if they ditch the white pants. Blue and gold is the school colors and I never really cared for the blue/white and mono white look. We don't need to be looking too similar to a certain school to the east

I know they are Adidas and we are nike but I don't think adidas has the patent on that shade of gold.. Check out our helmets and their pants, its spot on.
we've been asking this for about 3 months now.. its like something out of a detergent commercial. The "before" pic of what happens when you use the generic detergent..
I expect to see everyone dressed impeccably this year at the games. No jorts. No shitty 20-year-old Champion crewneck sweatshirts. No Mom jeans. No bowlcuts and no porn staches with Captain Kangaroo haircuts.

what are mom jeans? how bout those Jesus sandals, the ones with straps. Birkenstocks I think people call them. Can I wear those with Jean shorts?
Pants definitely need a stripe. Uniforms are growing on me...didn't love them when they first were released, but definitely growing on me

anyone that likes the look of the uni Biz is modeling is either on drugs or lying.
If that is what the look will be....then get rid of the gold pants once and for all.
