I don't think, no I know I have never been more interested in this event than this year. I can't wait. First off, you will see the Pirates 1st pick.

But in this game you have 2023 likely picks 1, 2, and 3 with LSU's Crews, Skenes and Florida's Langford. Also, the projected #1 pick overall Jac Caglianone plays for Florida.

So really alot to watch.

Pirates/Yankees '60 vibes if LSU wins a close one tonight. I thought Skenes would start.

And Crews is the safe bet (dude flat out gets on base), but my God he beats a lot of balls into the ground. He may or may not become the next Mike Trout but he doesn't pique my interest right now as much as the other potential picks.

Aside from the Bullington debacle and Garrit Cole, the Pirates never had a #1 overall pick during a year where there was one (or in this case 2-3) pretty much guaranteed stars. So this is a big draft for them.

He threw 123 pitches on the 17th, then threw another 120 on the 22nd. Starting him tonight on three days rest would have been insane.
