Not sure if this has been talked about, but anyone here know why they are building a new airport? I’m sure it’s at least partially due to modernization, but I feel like Pittsburgh is one of the nicer airports I see when I travel. Plenty of things to do and everything is very accessible to the gates.
I did look over the renderings of the new terminal and it looks on the small side. There wasn’t too much mentioned about amenities or what businesses will be making the jump.
I feel like this is an attempt at becoming a hub again but feel like those days are sadly long over
