Speaking of trades, we should trade for Joc Pederson ASAP after that Angels trade fell through. Would fill the hole at CF and would probably be able to flip him for a decent prospect at the deadline.
However, that definitely will not happen.
OK, now we're back to the Pirates we came to know. Reminiscent of the Lee Mazzillis, Sixto Lezcanos, and Amos Otises of days gone by.

There was also discussion about who invented various office supplies as well as a discussion on how “all government employees are lazy.”

Naturally, that led to a discussion about workforce percentages in the private sector versus the public sector.

BTW, not that it matters, but the inventor of Whiteout was not the mother of a former Steeler. Rather, it was Bette Nesmith Graham, the mother of Michael Nesmith, who once famously comprised 1/4 of the made-for-television pop rock band, the Monkees.
Also, though I’ve never been a federal employee myself, I think it’s quite possibly the most ludicrous claim in the history of this message board to suggest that everyone who works for the federal government is by definition lazy. Not that there are frustrating inefficiencies inherent in the system due to the endless layers of bureaucracy. Not that you have personally encountered some lazy people when dealing with the government.
No, that’s not taking things far enough. It is that working for the federal government inherently means you are lazy.

Bernie Madolf stole a bunch of people’s life savings as part of a Ponzi scheme and Goldman Sachs and JP Morgan basically created a global recession in 2008 through incredibly reckless dealings motivated by sheer greed. Therefore, all banks are evil and anyone who works in financial services sector must be a thief.
Some police officers have been caught on camera mistreating and even murdering minorities over the years and they’ve acted more as military occupiers than as a police force designed to protect and serve the communities in which they serve. Therefore, all police officers are obviously homicidal racists.

It was standard -115 for me and still is at the adjusted total. It’s probably still a safe bet but wish I’d played more.
For all this doom and gloom and worst team of all time, isn't there like 5 teams projected to have LESS wins than the Pirates this year?
I use Bovada and their payouts normally suck. 5 Dimes has been better but can be harder to get your money.
Tougher to gamble for those of us in states without legalized gambling.
I am not saying this to justify the Pirates in any way. I am just saying this with all of this 'worst team ever' and 200 loss predictions......it is going to be bad, but nothing historic.
5 Dimes has been on a steady decline since Tony’s unfortunate kidnapping and murder. Probably still a safe place to have your money, but multiple people have told me withdrawals have been increasingly slow.
That's the nicest thing anyone will say to me this week and it's from the guy with a sketchy looking clown avatar.
