I’m an old Springdale guy, caddied at Oakmont for a while when growing up but moved across river to Pittsburgh Field Club where I had a better guarantee of getting out everyday carrying 2 bags for 4 or so hours to get my whooping $12 or maybe higher if I got a good tipper (or someone that got a hole-in-one which happened a few times.
Only a couple hours away now, went back for the Open in 2016, killing me now knowing it’s there and I’m not heading over for it.
