OT: where to watch a big game in Pittsburgh

anyone ever go to Archie’s on Southside? They’ve been promoting their place for the World Cup game Sunday AM. Wondering if that’s a good option for viewing the game or if anyone else has a favorite place to catch a big one.

(Pipers would probably be tough to get into).

The women's softball world championships?? How dare they hold them at the same time as the Women's World Cup.

I have watched the USWNT since 1999, rarely missing a televised international tourney. But these ladies are getting a bit hard to take with their preening and constant whining.

Very unlikeable team but I’ll still watch. Root for the name on front of the jersey, not the back.

Sadly though, their smugness and acts on social media will make a lot of people feel a twinge of delight here in the USA if they do get upset.

Oh no. I get it. Trust me, I obviously hate that. I don't mind the celebrations as much and you can see by my posts I am advocating that their compensation should at least be close to the men's if not equal or more. I am for that. I am. I just am tired of the persecution complex, it is a bit like Hines Ward "nobody gave me a chance".

Well it is over. The USWNT saved their best for last. If it wasn’t for the Dutch goalie, easily a 5-0 game. Pretty awesome and I am sure this will continue to build the grass roots for women’s soccer in the US. The Buddy Ravelle goal was tremendous.
