UMES scored 7 runs in the 8th inning to come back from a 6-1 deficit to win it 9-6. Pitt's RPI falls to 62 from 43. UMES's RPI is 295 (there are only 300 D1 teams). Horrific loss for Pitt. No chance for the NCAAT now unless they win all but maybe 1 or 2 games the rest of the season.

The streak of NCAAT-less seasons will hit 21.

They are the 6th worst team as I stated in my post because they were 295, so 295----6th worst, 296--5th worst, 297--4th worst, 298--3rd worst, 299--2nd worst, 300--worst

Also, as I said, probably the WORST loss in Pitt baseball history?

With the NCAAs virtually gone, we need to concentrate on finally making the ACC tourney, which we never have. We're "close", but.........
