Can you imagine this team, on a short week, in front of about 18,000 Thursday? I'd rather wear a pair of Mugsy jeans to the gym.
Here's the thing. On the radio you clearly heard the ref telling the scoreboard operator twice in a row that Pitt did not get charged with a timeout, that they had one timeout left. And then a short time later he again said something like "would the scoreboard operator put one timeout on the board for Pitt, Pitt still has one timeout left."
So when I got home and turned on the television and saw that they showed us with no timeouts left it made me wonder, did we somehow call a timeout in between the time I turned the car off in the garage and the time I turned the television on, because it didn't seem like there was enough time difference for there to have been a time out there.
And as it turns out, it was just no one at the ACC Network paying attention to what the ref said over the mic literally on multiple occasions.
This is where Weaver or Baldo would line up in the middle - when 89 is lined up at QB! Recognition please.

This is the third game we have played against a team that basically couldn't throw a forward pass. We're 0-2 and losing this one.

AKA the opposite of the infamous Aaron Donald play where he tackles the entire backfield to make sure the ball didn’t advance either way… how far have we fallen.
And we are 2-7 (well 3-6 with the wake game) in games that Pitt can’t throw a pass

Syracuse has run the ball 37 times for 192 yards, a 5.2 yard per carry average.
It's only been 2-1/2 quarters, how long will it take for the Pitt coaches to figure out what they are doing?
I hope we get that chance to play Eastern Washington or Montana state for the FCS championship.
The only benefit I give him is he is basically a freshman. But he clearly isn’t great
