since the ACC doesn't have a post-season tournament, who gets the NCAA auto-bid? UL because they beat us head-to-head, or do both of us go?Swept V Tech today!
ACC co-champs
Who televises the tournament games? ESPN 3 for early rounds? So here is some potential good news. I was reading a site that does a volleyball bracketology. The guy who does the picks has Pitt playing in Michigan State's pod rather than Penn State's pod. He said the reason he has it that way is that Pitt played at Penn State last year and that the NCAA does not like to have a team play on the road in a sub-regional at the same site two years in a row if there is another reasonable choice available. Obviously Michigan State is a further trip than the drive to nitterville, but it's not all that far to go.
Let's hope that it works out that way, because the nitters are quite likely going to get the number one overall seed and that guy had Michigan State as the 13th overall seed. Much better chance to advance.
Bracket is revealed tomorrow evening.
Indeed! I'm still learning volleyball.I've watched some local high school games live and low level college as well as Pitt at Ohio U.a few years ago. It's really is a fun game to watch and this team in particular.Congrats!!!!!!!
Is there a sport they aren't good at? Or do they just cheat at all of them? LOLLouisville wins tie breaker and gets it.

Thanks! That is what I was afraid of.They can televise every conference game but no early NCAA tournament rounds. That's messed up.I don't know. It looks like the games aren't on the "regular" ESPN channels until the semifinals. You would think that streams of early round games would be available somewhere.

Last year's Pitt games were streamed on-line, but I don't remember on what.
The NCAA actually does stream some events on their web site, hopefully they will at least be available there.
Thanks,I'll check that out.Last year's Pitt games were streamed on-line, but I don't remember on what.
