When was the last time he was a QB with 90 yards through five completions? Very impressive start.
There’s an alternative universe where Nate Yarnell starts under offensive coordinator Brennan Marion last season and then battles it out with Kenny Minchey for this season… hindsight is 20/20, of course.
So far this is a HUGE indictment on Cignetti. If he’s the guy that makes the QB decision, then he needs to be fired before they turn off the lights in the stadium…

So far, best Pitt QB performance this year and it’s not even close. Let’s see if he can keep this up rest of the game.
Or SMF for repeatedly saying he sucked big time because he couldn’t beat out PJ or CV.
The results are good so far and he's playing on adrenaline like CV did vs Louisville, but I'm honestly not seeing it with the eye test (throwing motion, fluidity, etc.). I think all three of these QB's are subpar, and we better hit the portal.

Like I said in a previous post. Either the film crew is doing a lousy job capturing the chaos, or the coaches don’t know what they’re looking at! Or worse, maybe they are lying about looking at the tape!

You mean like his head coach and OC were saying when they kept him buried on the bench for 10 weeks while we watched some of the worst QB play in college football history?
Yeah, so many targeting calls are targeting by accident or unintentional. But that there was as intentional as it gets. Talk about launching and leading with the helmet!
I want us to go for this for entertainment purposes, but I'm not sure it makes sense in a game like this. Ten points is a comfortable lead with the way this is playing out.
Can’t complain about the run call there but that would have been a good opportunity for a fake run and then pass.
