The "blindside" blocks prevents a blindside tackle as they are approaching the ballcarrier from behind. To protect the fragile defenseless defender it should be illegal to chase the ball carrier from behind. Or have the blocker yell a safety word and then the defender must lie down in a fetal position.
Weird end to the half again but the defense is really locked in on the receivers and Duke isn't going to run it down our throats either.

What? It would be really stupid to not try a hail Mary there. It's a free chance to score, albeit a low percentage chance. But if you watched the Miami - Virginia Tech game this afternoon you know that scoring on a hail Mary on the last play of the first half can completely change the momentum of the game.
