Pitt vs UNC Game Day Thread

I don't have a good feeling at all, after watching our first offensive possession.

Narduzzi warned about Switzer this week trying to trick people. Held his arm up to shield sun, but easily could've made Pitt players think he was calling a fair catch.

Hmmm. I honestly didn't know you were allowed to kick off the tee following a safety.

Peterman looking solid. When he doesn't panic he's good enough for what he needs to do.

Absolutely ridiculous. Officer should've lost his job week 1. I think last week was the only game he hasn't done that so far.

Haha leave it to Pitt to put together a decent drive and then high snap it away. At least we got the 3

on that bad snap Peterman could have picked the ball up and heaved it far down the field out of bounds, as long as it went past the line of scrimmage it wouldn't have been intentional grounding.

I was hoping he was going to do it as the play unfolded, Pitt still could have scored a td on that drive had he done it

Well overall, not a bad quarter. One really big mistake, maybe could be 9-0. One undisciplined kick return (let it go out of bounds), really great time of possession.

I'll take it.

Oklahoma State would disagree with you. He first would have needed to make sure he was outside the tackle box, which he probably was not when he was trying to pick it up, and he also would have needed to make sure that there was a eligible receiver somewhere in the same zip code as he was throwing the ball.

That's what he did against 'Nova. He tried to do it again there I think but it looked like he lost his balance somehow. Regardless, Officer is awful. That's at least 5 or 6 times in 4 games.... that would be terrible even for a backup center in high school.

Not impressed with our O-Line at all today. Other than them, I think everyone else has looked really good.... although our secondary hasn't been tested at all yet.

That snap would have been over the punters head if we were punting the ball there. I've never seen a guy snap the ball more than 20 yards in the air on a shotgun snap.

Blatant missed holding on Carolina defender. Just awful non-call. Great play by Peterman though so whatever.

After seeing multiple players run the ball today, does anyone think that Q. Ollison isn't going to transfer next year?

Well... so much for that. Just pathetic attempts all around at tackling.

Soooooo many players these days run so fast they miss a lot of tackles. I've never played football, but can't you coach to actually tackle and not overrun the target?

This secondary is beyond pathetic. That should've been an uncontested interception.

I'm still waiting for a red this year to fall a hold against the lineman blocking price. It happens almost every play.

I would also point out that one of the players that should have had an easy interception on that ball and didn't come close is also the same guy who was covering Switzer on the long gain and came flying up like a mad man and then missed the tackle.

Exactly. That wasn't Lewis fault. Webb was awful on that drive

What!? Hall's carry was an obvious first down. It wasn't even close. But anyways, Ollison sighting on third down there.
