How is this even a discussion? These announcers are acting like there is ambiguity here. There is not.
You just had a two minute break while the refs reviewed the play. Why would you need to call a timeout now if you are Wake?
Can this Pitt team pleasantly surprise me just one time? We play truer to the spread than Penn State football.
I did too. We didn't get one call down the stretch. And whoever this lady is all about it

I thought for Wake basically shutting down Ish and Lowe (8-26... and the guards they are checking go 13-23... really?) and they still were in the game until the end says a LOT going forward. Get those 2 to stop taking ill-advised shots and maybe play some defense and better things will happen.

Well, at least we didn't get blown out. If we defend overall better and defend the 3 better, we win this game. But expected from this Pitt team. But we're still in need of 8 wins to make the NCAAT. Win ALL of the rest of our home games and get a couple of road wins, especially if we beat @'Ville or @SMU, and don't let ND beat us, and we're comfortably in.

It's possible this team finishes with zero wins over teams that make the tournament. There is just no punching above its weight class for this team. What you see is what you get, and we bring about the same quality of play every night. Only thing that differs is the opponent.
Because Wake defended them well with a good game plan. We couldn't defend Hildreth, Johnson or Sallis. What is surprising is that we were tied on rebounds. It seemed that every time Pitt missed a shot, Wake had the rebound. I don't think we had too many offensive put backs.
A lot to point to here. 45 seconds left and Reid gets the inbound; Austin doesn't foul him. Then that foul by Corhen with 2+ on the shot clock after playing great D for 20 seconds was an absolute killer. Totally moronic, Nasir-esque play. That likely would have been a stop and the ball down 3. Instead, down 5 and we never recover.

There is no such thing as a ACC ref in college basketball like there are in football. Refs do games in many conferences -- some do games in 5-6 different conferences in a week.
Pitt will be moved to last 4 in as a 11 seed now
