Pizza Oven

Does anybody else have a Mack Daddy outdoor Pizza Oven? If so, besides pizza, what do you love to cook in it.

Me;
Wings, Whole turkey or Chicken, Roasted tomatoes (Homemade Pizza Sauce) All types of roasted veggies (Wife a Vegetarian) all toppings for Pizza.

Looking for suggestions and willing to give mine to anybody

My sister and brother in law have one. The use it just like their oven. Their favorite is beef brisket and it is out of this world!
 
I'd imagine it's a pizza oven that works outdoors not unlike a bbq pit.
 
A wood fired pizza oven
Went to a nice wedding last fall. Saw one of those mounted on a trailer by a caterer. Outstanding, gourmet pizza. Not sure how it'd work on our deck....but I can see it working for roasts, ribs, chicken, etc.
 
I built my own wood fired pizza oven a few years ago, really enjoy it, My fav pies are King Crab, Buffalo Chicken with blue cheese, Brisket and hot peppers and a dessert pizza....just to name a few.

Forno Bravo makes a deluxe oven $$$$...lots of others out there.


Tried to post a picture but can't figure out how.
 
Get a Big Green Egg, expensive but can cook or grill anything including great pizza.

Dessert pizza is peaches and raspberries with a cinnamon sprinkle.



Also buffalo chicken, king crab and smoked briskett with hot peppers

In some neighborhoods people would move into that pizza oven when you're not paying attention!
Is that a two or three bedroom 2 bath pizza oven???

Damn Pitt83, those are your pies?? You take it to the next level for sure.. You'd be a hell of a neighbor with that thing.. Imagine a nice summer evening, you and the neighbors are sitting out drinking some beers, shooting the breeze and Pitt83 starts bringing out his homemade pies from his fire brick oven??

I seem to get a lot more phone calls in the summer asking me "what are doing"
It's always a good time....however no sitting around guzzling beers for me- I'm usually hustling making pizza's.
I can make 20 in an evening. I've been training a couple of buddies to "cook" the pizza's to free up a little time for myself.
I've learned that I need to drink wine or whiskey while doing this so I can keep the blood level up - it's easy to overindulge and the pizza quality suffers.
 
How do you make your Crab Pizza?
It's a white pizza...I drizzle some garlic infused olive oil on the dough, add a mixture of shredded whole milk mozza and provolone along with some fresh mozzarella. I then put a generous helping of king crab on top and bake for 2-3 minutes. I sprinkle a little salt on top when it comes out.
It's one of my favorites. Wholey has king crab for about $20/lb+ inside the door on the right.
I get the jumbo.

Cool, thanks. I like doing Reuben, Pierogi, BBQ Chicken/Bacon and Philly Cheesesteak Pizzas, along with all the traditional sauce pizzas and my wifey likes a Greek Pizza. PennMac has the best anchovies BTW. They are fresh from their deli

Have you ever cooked a whole bird or wings in yours?

Same here with how busy you get. I love doing it and i just drink all day from the firing of the oven to my Cigar when I'm done cooking at night, then i finally eat. I have an outdoor kitchen so i cook all the meats fresh on the grill and roast the veggies in the oven. I also finally found trust with one of my guests where he is my sous chef.
 
Looks awesome but a lot of work...still have small children so most free time is dealing with chasing around the little one so she doesn't kill herself or going to sports for the older one...maybe when the kids are old enough to take care of themselves I will be able to spend the time to enjoy a pizza oven like that!

I have to say that structure is pretty impressive while blending in with landscape. Nice job with construction as I have seen many that become the focal point of a home.
