Full disclosure, I couldnt make the game today but my tickets were used. The place sounded dead on TV. Couldnt really get a good idea of the crowd other than the Zoo but there's a post on the premium board complaining about the crowd. Not sure what excuses Pitt fans have anymore. Everyone left during and after Dixon 2 and they are NEVER coming back at these prices unless we are a NC contender. We are never going to many single game tickets so my advice to AD Greene is slash season ticket prices like crazy next year. Make them the cheapest in the P4 and market the hell out of them. Sell the place out cheaply and start raising prices every year. You need a base. We lost the whole base and they're gone for good.

Also, this is probably going to be my last year buying season tickets. I cant make all the games and I am 1 million percent against donating to the Panther Club in this day and age. If they made it a player salary donation instead, I'd do that. But no more PC donations from me for the right to buy tickets. I sold my lower level Stanford tickets for $5 each. I'm just going to Stubhub it next year unless Pitt makes an effort to put people in the building. Nothing against the team. I'll go to the same amount of games. I like the program but basketball marketing is a 0.0. Beyond disgusted with how little effort the athletic dept puts into basketball. This team deserves to have fans cheering for it.

I got a 6 game mini plan this year on the lower baseline for $300 each. No donation required. I also can't make every game like I used to. This is a nice compromise.

My friend can't make the Clemson game, and the ticket office was really cool about switching them to UNC. Got 116 aisle.

I was getting up there on the donor list when I quit panther club donations around 2014. Didn't miss out on much there.

Maybe I'll do that if we get Duke at home next year, especially if its on a Saturday. Other than that though, you can get into weeknight ACC games for next to nothing. Even Saturdays now arent selling well. Stanford was empty. Apparently Louisville too. Lowers on Stubhub for Clemson are $40 right now and will be $20 by game time. There's 0 demand for what Pitt wants for these tickets. Something has to change. We are wasting The Pete.

Zoo was dead. I was happy to see a couple egregiously bad calls in the first half thinking it would wake everyone up. But no. People just sat on their hands all game.

I hate to blame officials. They werent the reason we lost but they helped:

I had the benefit of replay on TV but:

- The charge on Lowe was as bad of charging call you'll see all season. I know the block/charge call is tough but that's a block 95 out of 100 times.

- Edwards driving drunk in the lane trips and travels but the ref thought he tripped over Dunn's foot. He didn't.

- Edwards in 1st Half gets a foul called as he drives. Whistle blown. Proceeds to do a jump stop and the shoots it. Should not have been a shooting foul.

- GDG gets the tickiest tackiest of calls as a Louisville player initiates contact and GDG slightly touches him with his upper body. GDG was straight up and down. Lou player drove into him and it was the slightest of contacts. Almost no contact.

- Dunn strong take to the hole, was mauled by the defender. Made the basket, no foul.

- Corhen made a layup in the 1st Half and was pushed from behind. No call.

- Edwards goes in for a layup vs Austin, contorts his body to avoid contact and is successful in that but foul called on Austin, no contact made. Not only that, Edwards did not attempt a shot on the play. For fear of getting blocked, he made a terrible pass attempt.

As poorly officiated game I've seen in a long time.

what needs to change is the coaching staff...give me the LVILLE coach anyday over what we have.

I don't think the price was keeping anybody out. I looked on StubHub, and you could have gotten in for $4 (I didn't even think you were allowed to list them that low) and sat in the lower level for less than $10.

Snow + Penguins + Steelers was a bad formula. Are the students also on break? Zoo looked full on TV anyway.

I admit I have no desire to go to basketball games anymore. I've been going to one per year, and the Clemson game will probably be it for me this year. Just not as into basketball as I used to be, and the thought of dealing with the cold to see a game doesn't appeal to me.

I mean no offense, but stuff like this is why Pitt will never be big time in basketball again.

I hear you, but I can't help it. I get annoyed when people don't go to the football games. But I'm just not that passionate about Pitt/college basketball anymore. I used to split season tickets, and I've even been to 4 NIT games for crying out loud. But Pitt basketball is like the Steelers are to me now - just have no desire to see it in person anymore.

When the time comes to build a new arena, 7,500 feels like the right number. Play a game or two at PPG if a marquee opponent comes to town.

We also got many calls to go our way.

The NIT game against Fla? Sean Miller and company in the Fieldhouse.

The prices went up in the lower bowl to $80.00 plus taxes for a single ticket. Some people have been upset over that but we bought the mini plan.
