Pope dead hours after meeting with Vance

Truly ironic that someone would slam you for criticizing a heretical pope while ignoring the posters on the site who mock Christian’s.
The Pope was controversial. That’s not a secret to anyone. And among several other things, Catholicism is ripped here for the sexual abuse scandals. You don’t do it. I don’t do it. But the Leftists love to do it. I simply meant that while we may not like it, it happened. And when the non believing heathens bring it up, we may not like it, but we can’t pretend like it never happened.

I’m not sure why Slick took offense to me. I’m not his opposition here. However, as a Catholic, I don’t tell him to go eff himself when he supports the murder of millions of innocent souls killed in the womb.

Sorry FK, your post struck a nerve with me on the day the pope died. In hindsight I was somewhat harsh. For the record, I don't support abortion and this trend of trying to fit people into these boxes based on their political party doesn't always make sense.

The Catholic Church. Ie the leadership deserved condemnation for the pedophile priest corrupt. And Frankie was part of that with McCarick. (Sp). That’s why I said earlier as a Catholic I don’t support the larger church. IMO it’s a corrupt organization as evidenced by the priest scandal. And under Frankie they’ve lost their way spiritually.

IMO finding a local church filled with the spirit and led by a Godly man is the key regardless of denomination. Having been raised Catholic that’s what I prefer. But if I couldn’t find a vibrant local Catholic Church I’d be ok with attending another church.

Show me a religious organization that isn't corrupt...

The fact that you think supporting biblical teachings is hypocritical is telling.
You should be free to practice whatever faith you want...but the moment people start forcing their beliefs on others is where my support ends. One of the most important foundational principles of our country is separation of church and state.

These women agree.

Yeah those 10 commandments can be tricky.

Has anyone ever seen chat music before? This account takes chat replies to social media posts and lyrically sets them to music. Pretty creative stuff. This one is funny.

You don't quite understand what "You should be free to practice whatever faith you want...but the moment people start forcing their beliefs on others is where my support ends" means.

I'll explain it to you. If the women are willing participants in this (i.e. are they practicing their beliefs?), then it is within their right to subject themselves to this. If the women are not willing participants in this - it falls under the last part of the statement which says "the moment people start forcing their beliefs on others..."

Understand now?

I should also add in this context if the women are "willing participants " in so much as if they don't participate they will be abused or killed also needs to be accounted for.

Who is forcing anyone You’re free to believe anything you want. What does that have anything to do with Christian’s following biblical teachings. Thats like a man wearing a wig and pretending to be a woman

Yeah really not sure how "willing" they are. More like coerced, Stockholm Syndrome, fear and ignorance.

if the woman doesnt participate, she will be buried up to her shoulders and stoned to death. amazing what you will participate in when the alternative is a brutal death..

You post many times per day about your faith and Christianity. But then demean and call names to individuals that don't agree with your dogma. You mix politics with religion regularly.

Not to mention gays and trannies killed but hey it’s the religion of peace

It's like when saddam would state he was a democratically elected leader with 99.9% of the vote

Almost like the Christians of the 80s and 90s that killed abortion doctors because they felt it was justified. Or how slave owners used the Bible to justify enslaved Africans. Or the crusades. Every religion has been used to make excuses for horrific behavior.

I call out demonic and degenerate behavior. Not going to apologize to anyone for doing so. If you think defending the unborn and innocent children is mixing politics with religion that’s your problem.

In fact the counter can be argued. You demean anyone who doesn’t approve of killing babies and grooming and mutilating the genitals of young children. You mix you’re demonic beliefs with politics regularly

Nice attempt to conflate Individual whack jobs with an entire religion. It’s amusing the lengths youlll go to to defend certain groups

Exactly - which is exactly why church and state should be separated. I'm sure ratking appreciates you proving his point.

I believe reasonable people can debate certain topics. I don't believe abortion is a black and white issue but rather a gray one. Do you believe in exceptions to abortion in certain circumstances? Most Americans do. And your take on trans individuals always reeks of bigotry and hate. Again, reasonable discussions can be had about children and hormones and hormone blockers but again, calling me demonic just shows your myopic viewpoints and distortion of religion to fit a narrative you are trying to sell.

Finally, on easter how many posts on gay or trans people did you have? I counted at least 6. I know i mostly make jokes on here (i mean it's an anonymous pitt SPORTS message board) but I say in all sincerity to get a hobby...get off social media or whatever news you are consuming and enjoy your family and life. It's seems miserable to be so consumed about one issue that you feel compelled to constantly discuss one issue over and over again. If this isn't an act from you I feel pity that you live like this.

Ah, so you do believe that religion should not be forced on anyone? :)
i dont believe women should be forced to wear a black robe over their heads and have to ask their husbands for permission to go outside. but hey, that's the progressive side of me. obviously i wouldnt do well in the muslim world with such outlandish beliefs..

Adults can do with their body what they want. But I’m not going to pretend a man pretending to be a woman is normal healthy behavior.

It becomes demonic when you attempt to groom a child or convince them they are not the sex they are born with. That’s demonic. There’s zero middle ground on that.

Regarding abortion it’s gone form “reasonable exceptions” to late term abortions.

You may want to take your own advice. You seem to spend a lot of time reacting to what I believe.

Ummmm..................I was pretty much an adult or at least teenage in the 80's and 90's and I don't remember a slew of "Christians" killing abortion doctors. I remember one guy. Eric Rudolph. So you are misrepresenting something that was never a thing.

How many would there be though if the government started to condone the killing of "sinners"?

I guess what I'm saying is, if our government was religious based like many other countries are, what would be "legal" to do to the "non-believers" and how much advantage would the religious folks take advantage of it? In other words, if killing of abortion doctors was legal and condoned by the government, would the instances of it increase, decrease or stay about the same? I'm thinking it would increase, much like the treatment of women in Afghanistan improved while we were in control there and has once again devolved now that it is governed by religion.

You're usually a pretty solid debater. But you are inadvertently proving ratking's point over and over again, every time you post an argument.
