Props to PN for Benching PJ

Man I give tons of credit to the head coach who took almost half the season to find the biggest detriment to us winning and move him to tight end.

It’s a ****ing clown show on water st right now

I have no idea. I'm not one who looks back at such minutiae. I'm forward-looking.
My point was, If that was the game Browne got hurt in, it was a road game, the starter got knocked out, QB2 had his helmet come off and had to sit out a play, I don't know that Narduzzi had much choice but to play him.

That was the situation as I recall. But I have no idea who the QBs were.

My point was that Narduzzi didn't send Pickett in. Someone else did.

What….you’re a hoot.
You seem to think I'm here to defend all things Narduzzi. he isn't a perfect coach. Then again, no one is. Your list is nonsense. If you have to back years to find things to criticize, it is stupid. I can find things that Alabama did today that were stupid. I guess Saban is a bad coach too.

Seem to think? Go back years? I cited in game coaching issues( which is what you asked for) every year this guy has been the HC! You could write a book on this guy’s coaching blunders.

Actually, you generally cited plays that happened without any proof that they were the result of in-game decisions by Narduzzi. Youa also cited Briggs mistake, which is obviously not a Narduzzi in-game decision.

Try harder.

He’s the ceo, buddy. He ‘s responsible for everything that happens under his watch. That’s why he’s making $5.5 m per year and all the guys you want to find at fault are, comparatively speaking, making chump change. The facts speak for themselves and yet all you do is stretch to make excuse. THE END!

I really don't think you know what a head coach's role is.

Serious question here, as I do not know. Could they just take a delay of game then put Da Nooch back in? Does a delay of game penalty count as a play and count as the play the QB could not participate in?
Pretty sure MacVittie was at the game and played some special teams prior to that. He could have gone in as an alternative.

Yeah I’ll never get what the heck was the thinking. It was only one play. Have basically anyone who already had played to just take the snap, one time, one play. Didn’t have to be a QB.

So -
Explain what decisions the HC actually makes during a game ?
Is there any reason for them to be there ?
The Pitt sideline under this coaching staff…..chaos and confusion.

MCVittie was available. Total sideline confusion…unforgivable.

You guys are obsessed over a play that has zero relevance to anything. Zero. It didn't matter one iota. Zilch, nada.

Maybe he doesn't play against UM if he doesn't play that play, and maybe he never plays here. Maybe he transfers. Who the hell knows. Maybe this, maybe that.

Get over it already.

So just send out the punter. A running back. A receiver. Anyone who regularly might touch the football. Take the snap, that’s it, they leave the field. Coaches make things way too complicated

The punter, really? It was a one score game. I could see the Pitt fans reaction after sending the punter out to end the game, rather than playing some unknown freshman who may or may not take another snap in a Pitt Uni.

Monday morning QB is fun, especially 6 years later.
