But they have that 5 star QB that is the NFL # 1 draft pick coming back. The same one that finished 116 overall in all of D1 football last year. Now the nitters told me that he was so bad because of the horrible OL and not Franklin. Now I am being told here that the PSU OL is going to be dominant next year. I am very confused....

Well, your record was exactly the same as Pitt's this year. After 2 great classes, I would imagine not being T25 this coming year would be cause for........concern. Great expectations.

Our record wasn't the same as PITT's this year. PITT was 6-7.

Two great classes? Which two? We will finish T15 this season and were 24th last year. The two years prior to that we were 43 and 51. Those are hardly great recruiting classes.

Fact of the matter is, Franklin is recruiting like this with a team that didn't finish in the top 25 and was 7-6. If Penn State starts winning and being ranked, kids will want to go there even more.

All I know is that Pitt, Penn State and West Virginia ever since they all were founded have contributed more to the excellence of this Commonwealth, America, and the World than anything they have had to address associated with letdowns due to human nature, flawed people, and institutional impacts.

In addition, the PSU, WVU and PITT Football Programs have been darn good to great during various Era as seen by some statistics below and none of them have anything to be ashamed of with play on the GridIron, and have produced Top Ten Teams and Era many times in their proud Histories.

Moreover, WVU, PITT and PSU have contributed to many proud players, coaches, and records that helped create the game known today and before the NFL was ever in existence, but was improved by people from those universities. as satted, there is far more to respect than disrespect are my points.

Additionally, PITT, PSU, and WVU Fans may have come to dislike each other and in fact hate losing to one another but that is part of being rivals and the true facts and truth are they are better together and bring excitement and disappointment in all of our lives and the true tragedy is actually not playing each other anymore on a yearly basis, nor being within the same conference.

Furthermore, I enjoy watching, following and comparing all Three Football Programs, Conferences, Coaches, Recruiting, Players, Teams and Universities. Including Notre Dame, USC, Virginia and lesser extent Stanford, Michigan, Ohio State, and some others. Again, there is more to respect and enjoy than to disrespect and trash.

Finally, I expect the banter that goes along among students, alumni, fans, coaches and players because that is natural and goes along with any competitive spirit and acknowledge all of us can take that way too much serious sometimes, but that happens when talking Sports of any find as well as Politics or Religions.

It is no vice to recognize all Three Football Programs, Coaches, and Teams and the banter that is going to happen by all of us in comparing all three universities that changes and pursues excellence every year, sometimes doing it, failing, but the challenge will continue and so be it.

In closing, as you can see from selective comparisons below on Winning Percentages of all three Universities and especially this century, there is still so much to do and excellence is never done nor education, but more to be proud of as well, from three Football Programs.
