Quote from National guys...

Aren’t head sets a thing ?

how much do they cost?

can we start a go fund me to get them for our QBs?
College QBs aren’t allowed to wear headsets. That’s why you see this all the time:
If he his such a horrible blocker (aside from that 1 play) then why does he lead our punt protection?
pass protection isn’t about the physical ability to block. It’s a lot more X and O than the punt team. The RB has to know who to pick up in various blitz situations. The assignment changes sometimes at the LOS or even after the snap depending on how the pass rush is disguised.

A good QB will also call out the protections before the snap, and will sometimes move the back and/or TE pre-snap to account for what the D is showing. I don’t see a lot of out of Pickett.

I remember expressing doubts on this board when he was first hired. He never impressed me at Miami.

As for Narduzzi.....he's basically saying that he takes no responsibility.....
I’m not a Whipple fan either, but nobody’s offense would work very well with this personnel group, especially this pathetic O line.

To be fair though, when a running back completely whiffs on a block and nearly gets the quarterback decapitated those of us just watching the game on television don't feel a thing.
Well when none of the other running backs are exactly excelling at pass blocking
And the go to rb as you’ve noted has 25 yards in his 25 carries -
Yeah-
I’ll say it shouldn’t be a priority over running the ball forward

of course it’s that mentality that kept ollison in the dog house despite being our best back
