I wonder if it’s a mid year transfer. The way it’s worded sounds like they will be wrestling THIS year. Facundo maybe?

If Facundo goes into the portal Michigan would make a ton of sense with him being from Michigan and seniors that he can beat at 157 and 174
For real. I heard from a guy that heard from a guy (very reliable) that Pitt landed a super big time recruit. Don't have the details, but assuming the Jan 1st tweet was in regards to the big time recruit.
Anyone know from past tweets. When the news is announced after one of these tweets? Has to be coming soon.
Bouzakis is the only one that makes sense to me if it is actually "a super big-time recruit". Hopefully we find out soon
I’m hearing from a reliable source that it is a flipped commitment from Nathan Desmond. Likely wouldn’t break psu lineup so it makes sense. Great day to be a panther fan!
If true that would be amazing. I am taking it with a serious grain of salt but I could see a world in which it makes sense

Sidun is only a sophomore and coaches can not be in official contact with him. Any commitment he made would not be something the college coaches would post about since it would be entirely on his own
Heights is looking closer and closer to being done every time I see it. I would hope it is up and running by the start of the 2025-2026 school year but knowing Pittsburgh construction delays I doubt it
I think tomorrow's dual will be interesting to see if there are any special guests in attendance

Steller Trained Kid. Was originally a 2025 who spent three years wrestling arguably the worst HS wrestling schedule in PA at Harriton HS. Reclassed and is now at Germantown Academy. Just kind of a grinder who finds a way to win. Managed to get 8th at PIAAs last year. Is a borderline placer at the Beast/ETR type tournaments. Could do pretty well at preps this year and next year. Projects as a 157/165 depth guy IMO but is also probably a good student and culture addition.
ETR: Karson Brown and Evan Petrovich will wrestle in Semifinals tomorrow morning. Nafshi lost his first match but has made is way to bloods and will wrestle shortly.

If we could somehow get Sidun and then have a brown, sidun,brown punch in the lineup that would be awesome
Evan Petrovich, lost 4-0 to #10 guy in nation. Definitely a hard nosed grinding type of wrestler. Took 5th
