Once again, for some of the Doubters with no offense given and none taken if some differs. Coach Pat & Staff are the real deal and not for the short term at Pitt. Pitt has finally come home to the fact of hiring a Coach that comes from Steel Country of Ohio, for Pitt and relates, knows, and loves this region as he does his Players and selects his Coaches.

As for some that do not Think some of Links chosen for others to read on CFB Subjects, ACC and other Conferences Comparisons, to share to learn for discussion. As well as seeing developments against old rivals, such as WVU, Penn State, current competitors in the ACC, Big East, and Big Ten do not belong on the Lair......."It is called an Ignore Button" and if you cannot accept it, I simply don't care what you think is an appropriate Thread. I respect the judgment of the Monitors and when taken down, there is no reason to whine, as I never do too.

It is my view, one cannot sit back and just see what is happening at Pitt, but measure Pitt against Regional Rivals, ACC Coastal, and Coaches , Recruits, Players, and Teams as a means to compare over there. When The Golden Panthers were formed in 1970s to rebuild Pitt Football and found Coaches to bring back Pitt Football return to the Top 25, Top 10 and win and impact on National Championships again. We had a group always comparing what other Programs were doing. This is how smarts beats dumb, by sharing to learn changes minds, attitudes and supports Pitt. So once again, I don't care what you think you know, just know it is good to have other Posters grow with other Programs Posters in the know too.

This Article below is just a seed of what is happening at Pitt and why Coach Narduzzi will succeed at Pitt better than Franklin at Penn State, and Holgrosen at WVU! Even if this 2016 does not show it in Wins, he is a better Caoch then them. I can wait for that to happen and I don't think i am wrong, and if so will say it someday, but not today because my Hunch is not a Guess.

Coach Pat Narduzzi is the Real Deal and Perfect fit for Pitt. Coach Pat & Staff, Recruits & Players know it far better than anyone on the Lair, and nothing can compare on Mountaineers or BWI Boards, in my opinion.

Now read and believe from an Old GridIronSage faults and all that has no fear to defer to smarter and younger Posters that are on the Lair & elsewhere.

Pitt's Football Day Will Not Come.....It Is Here Now!

Read, Learn & Believe!
Excerpts:
When he entered Michigan State as a freshman in 1997, Pitt cornerbacks coach Renaldo Hill was torn. He wanted to play immediately, but he was close with the upperclassman ahead of him on the depth chart. In fact, it was his brother Ray. “It was going to be hard to push him out of the way,” Hill said. Then, there was the crucial matter of adjusting to a stricter, more mentally and physically challenging environment. “I was still trying to fit into the college life,” he said. “But I felt like I was ready to play.” In the end, the future 10-year NFL cornerback accepted a redshirt. The results indicate it was a good idea. The following season — his first as a three-year starter for the Spartans — Hill intercepted a pass at the goal line to ensure a 28-24 upset of No. 1 Ohio State in Columbus. Sound familiar?...........................Brightwell will be among seven members of Pitt's 15-man Class of 2015 who will line up in various roles Saturday against Syracuse at Heinz Field. It would have been nine, but starting safety Jordan Whitehead and backup wide receiver Tre Tipton are injured and won't play. Six were redshirted last year, and they look like they might make contributions now and in subsequent seasons. Coach Pat Narduzzi suggested one of them, safety Jay Stocker, might be the most improved player on the team.........“It's nice to be able to sit those guys down and let them redshirt,” Narduzzi said. “We would have liked to have done that with (freshman cornerback) Damar Hamlin.” Pitt redshirted freshman cornerback Therran Coleman, and Narduzzi had high praise for him, too: “In another year, that's going to be a big, athletic corner who's going to turn some heads,” he said...............Pitt is playing four safeties and five cornerbacks for the most part, including wide receiver Maurice Ffrench, who took snaps on both sides of the ball last week against Duke.“It's allowed our guys to be fresher going into the fourth quarter,” Hill said, “and letting guys (who aren't playing every snap) see it from a different perspective.”............
