Why? I mean outside of "willing to play dirty", but Sean Miller hasn't been a really accomplished coach except he has always had a lot of talent, and in the post season he has underachieved worse than Jamie Dixon.

He's been to The Elite 8 four times and has a 19-11 NCAAT record. That's much better than Dixon. Also, I don't think Dixon is totally spotless.
How can you logically say that here after essentially 1 recruiting cycle for Capel? It's not practical...
Miller's future is in limbo in Arizona and he still has 3 Top 60 recruits on the way.

I get that - but it's still apples to oranges. I think Capel is doing an outstanding job recruiting when you consider everything.
Yes and many people with inside info say he was interested when we hired Stallings, but Barnes was not interested. This most recent hire he wanted the job for certain under the right contract language.
His dad blasted Pitt during the search the last time before we hired Stallings, I believe that was after Barnes made it known he was not first option. How in the world Stallings was Barnes first option is beyond belief .
Arguing that Pitt has ever had equal talent to Az over an extended period ( Miller vs Dixon ) of time is just down right dumb . Sean has been able to recruit elite talent to Az because he / they pay them to come there . That will never happen at Pitt under current circumstances and he will never be the coach of the Panthers .
I think comparing ncaa results between Miller and Dixon are worthless because both have far underperformed their seedlings . If anything I think Sean’s had the talent to win several NCAAs whereas Dixon had maybe one or two teams with an outside chance . It’s like saying you stink worse than me ..,if that makes you happy !

Let me see an elite program that pays players vs a non elite program that doesn’t and also suspends a vital player at the time for a yr because he god forbid smoked pot .
