They’re paying him $1M+ less than we’re paying Capel…and even that was double of what they were paying Pat Chambers.
And Shrewsberry’s issue is much more related to NIL than raw salary, and there’s only so much that an athletic department can do about that. That fanbase would rather contribute to an NIL deal for a backup wrestler than a basketball starter. It’s a cultural thing.
