Sobering thoughts

Not in basketball. We paid Lowe, Leggett, and Austin good money. And got decent (on paper) transfers in Corhen and Dunn, who are making something.

Its not expensive to compete in basketball. You need 3 players.
Well … we paid the money that gets you Lowe Legget Austin Dunn and Cohren. But that’s not a tournament team so we clearly can’t afford tournament level players

Corhen was a misevaluation. That's the reason we are where we are. GT rebounded 24 of their 48 misses vs Clemson last night and won. You have to rebound. We can't do that. We paid NCAAT money but we misevaluated. Like Kansas State.

I watched GT and their rebounding. Pitt won't match what GT can do with rebounding. If that happens and we continue to play porous defense and selfish, unimaginative offense, GT will beat us. I don't care what their record says. They're improving while we're regressing.

The sign of good coaching and schemes is that the team improves at or beyond the pace of other teams , year in and year out. (That is there will be outliers occasionally)...a sobering thought indeed.

GT crushed Clemson on the glass. They are a better team than we are right now. Actually, they are a probably a Top 6-7 in the ACC at this moment. We are probably like 10th or 11th.
