Living in nashville too, I liked the guy as coach at Vandy. At least we got stallings and not Franklin! Franklin was an actual ass clown who is all fake no coaching... Stallings is a basketball mind who is more old school coach.
I don't like the hire because of his age and the Jeter connection but I think stallings really liked Jeter. But as to bball coaching it isn't a bad hire.
As for other coaches turning us down I don't believe ANY of that!! No way pitt had time to make offers to other coaches
