I would argue that moving forward that will be standard throughout the league. Given the limited shelf life with the position most RB’s are on the decline by year #5.If they think he’s so special why did they decline the 5th year option?

Probably shouldn't be blowing first round picks on them either.I would argue that moving forward that will be standard throughout the league. Given the limited shelf life with the position most RB’s are on the decline by year #5.
khan said they were still trying to sign him but it could be lip service. not picking up his 5th year but then signing him to a second contract would be beyond dumb but who knows what they are thinking..
You wonder why half the country thinks one way politcally, and the other half thinks the other? Because two people can see the exact same thing and have a completely different interpretation. Case in point, that illegal pick play where Gene said it was a bad call because the defense initiated the contact. It appeared to me, as it did you and Gene, that the defense indeed initiated the contact. But the ref saw it differently and so did Joe Starkey on the radio today. And Joe was backed up by several people on twitter and the media. Yet 2 other people in the studio with Starkey, as well as you, Gene, myself, and plenty of others plainly see the defensive back initiated that contact. It’s baffling, as it was clear as day to me.Fields passing numbers would have looked better if the Broncos didn't commit blatant pass interference whenever they got beat deep. Also the OPI that nullified a Stillers td was a bad call, even Gene Steratore thought it was bad and he rarely goes against his ref buddies.
