Honestly, I know this is a sports obsessed country. But I don't know how these leagues are continually getting more and more money. There are so many outlets now, so much competition for not just the games, but all types of entertainment, again there has to be a tipping point.

At some point people are going to say "no". And stop funding some of this stuff. That is of course after we elect Trump.

I miss the old days when the Big East was ESPN's best alternative to having to show rodeo and Australian rules football.

Interesting numbers. ACC exposure amounts to exposure for Duke and NC and that's about it.

I'm not disputing what it is now - what I'm saying is that back in the 2000's the BE had way more games on ESPN than any other conference, so much greater availability of our own games and other BE brethren. It is totally different now.

ESPN WAS the BE channel when that league started. Coaches like Louie, Thompson,Boeheim Raftery (SHU) Rollie, Dom Perno....all got national exposure. Bristol needed primetime stuff to grow, the BE provided it. Both entities grew.

I think we're losing sight of what's really important here...me! I'm constantly stuck trying to explain where to find the Pitt game to my father in law and uncle. It's driving me nuts!!!

EXACTLY - well, the less Pitt is on ESPN. As noted alternative platforms (ESPN3) are available.

the production of these espn 3 telecasts are a joke.. Yeah I know, I got to join the real world with apple/roku, I get it but even if that is the case, they still are pathetic.. I refuse to call this advancement, it's a 3rd rate quality production in a time and age where I can watch low level college basketball on 6 channels at any given time.

I get it, pitt is mediocre and not Duke or UNC in terms of ratings but you still cant tell me they are worse than 90% of the garbage I see on tv every night. these tv deals are poop, pure and simple.. relying on espn 3 and horse manure production is not acceptable for acc basketball.
