During a 13-minute span in yesterday's first half, the Panthers outscored NCSU by 37-11.

During the first 6 minutes we were down 17-6, and with 1 minute to go in the half we led 43-28, that is a 37-11 run!

Wonder when the last time was that we had a run like that on a major college team when the game was still in doubt and not in garbage time?

During those 13 minutes, we scored 37 points.
During the game's other 27 minutes, we only scored 31 points?

We crushed Maryland pretty good in the first half of that game last year. That would be my guess.

21 point lead at the half in that one. Led by 21 at the half last year against Penn State as well.

And then if you want to go all of the way back to the NCAA Tournament in 2014 we led Colorado 46-18 at the half.

That was probably our best overall game last year. But we followed that up with the Duquesne debacle. Those two games pretty much summed up the whole year in a nutshell.

I'd have to look at the play by play, but I'd submit that the stretch in the second half of this year's WVU game when we cut WVU's 18 point lead to just 2 points was likely our best stretch. It wasn't as big of a margin, but it took place against a much better team.
