54,000? Did they really? Good lord, that took some chutzpah.

Looks like UM exaggerates attendance numbers way more than Pitt does, lucky if there were half of that 54,000 there

Yeah. Definitely a bad crowd yesterday. And while pitt volleyball crowds have definitely improved overall, we are still behind the 3-4k some schools get on a regular basis.

Why do we have iterations of this EXACT SAME THREAD for every home game?

Look. Pitt will get 40k on most days, 45k on good days, and 50k when everything is perfect (game time, weather, opponent).

Making this exact same post every week there is a home game is tiresome.... ESPECIALLY when it is made by someone who likely doesn't go to any home games.

Give it up already. Pitt is middle-of-the-pack in the ACC in attendance, middle-of-the-pack in the NCAA in attendance.... and that is what we will ALWAYS be.

Go to the game and enjoy yourself. And if you don't go to the game, for all that is good and holy STOP BITCHING ABOUT IT.

you only create dramatically more people going to the game by winning

No they wouldnt. Maybe if it was the last game of the year against a top miami or vt. But it wouldnt snowball into anything.

45k, actual people in stands, fo a noon game against a bottom dweller like Miami is more than enough to create a nice environment.

I’d love to go to this game. However, we can only make it to so many games since we live in Kansas City. Got to go Notre Dame last year, Oklahoma State in ‘16, and Iowa in ‘15.

I hope everyone going to the game on Saturday has a great time and our Panthers pick up a win!
