This is who we are

We are Coastal champs and we will finish with a .500 record not even a winning record smh

BS... GT trucked these chumps. This is just uninspired coaching from the staff.
Thank you!!!! Gosh people on this board can't wait to throw these kids down the garbage disposal. IDC what anyone says I'm beyond proud of these kids. They fought especially on defense. I thought we should have kept pounding at them and take an occasional shot or two.

Yeah... well this is ridiculous. A program w/ this kind of history should not be stuck w/ the Virginia's of the college football world. You know who they voted as best UVA player ever? Matt Schwab. Pitt has probably 100 players better than a Matt Schwab in their history.

It's like you are a bad fan if you expect some special seasons. Like except shiiit or you are a bad person

It’s spelled Schaub sir.

And Tiki Barber would’ve been a better choice.

I think talent hasn’t been the issue. We’ve put tons of all pro talent into the NFL since the golden days. We don’t seem to ever have dynamic coaching talent. That has killed us over the years and wasted good talent. Dumb game plans. Stubbornness i gamenplanning and just an overall lack of any coaching cohesiveness has killed the program for years

Pitt is right now a middle of the pack program.

The season had the potential to spiral into a 3-9 type season. Hats off to the coach and kids to keep it competitive.

The level of talent is mediocre- doesn't make them bad kids or make me follow the team any less. The staff needs to do a better job with the recruiting.

They have done a great job coaching up 2 star level players. If they can start to attract the 4 star athletes- they can get to the 9-10 win seasons

Some Nellie's had us going 2-10.

While there have been some great players on Pitt year after year - overall they have medium level of talent. 3 of our opponents who beat us - ND, Miami and PSU have had more NFL draftees and higher recruiting ranks over the last 30 years

The talent just hasn't been there .
The best coaching would see that .
Hell the worst has .

"Same old Pitt" debates aside, Miami has been the team that best summarizes the talent gap between a better recruiting base and Pitt, and it's been true for most of the 35 years since we renewed a series in 1984.

They have won 18 of 21 against us and honestly only last year was much of an upset. The other two wins were against down Miami teams that were .500ish.

Their front was just so much more athletic.

Not to mention,

They will always have athletes on defense. When they figure out the offense and bring in players to run it,

They will dominate the Coastal

It’s amazing how neither they nor Florida can get a decent QB the last few years. Not counting Kayaa, guy regressed every season after a good 1st year. Add LSU to that group as well.

I would’ve gone with Herman Moore but I get your point.
