No doubt. He was playing solid basketball before his injury.
Now if Capel can get something out of Drumgoole for the second half of the season...
Great news inded. We need to upgrade our depth. Hoping Drumgoole shows something in the limited minutes he is getting. They need to work feverishly with AKC in practice so we can get 5 to 8 minutes out of him as well. We are gonna be tough down the stretch if we can get something from all our pieces. I think Gerald is going to contribute before the year is up, AKC I am less confident about, but still hopeful. I just know you can't be good in this league or any league really, if your only going 6 men deep.
Hoping that having had to sit and watch the last 2 games has Toney really ready to go after it. Need his all-around energy and versatility on both ends of the court to help share the load.
I am a little worried about Miami's little guarrd Chris Lykes. He is lightning and can shoot the three. He will require all the defensive attention we can give. If we can keep him from going off, we should have a good chance.
Lykes is going to have 18+
I am more worried about keeping Vasilovic from draining 3s all night.
Xavier played against him in highscool and seemed to get the better of him but Lykes was much more highly recruited. I think Xavier plays with a chip on his shoulder against him. Last year Lykes only scored 8 points.
Well, Gonzaga won this one but they battled.
