Umm, if we win our next 3 games

It’s never too early to start making excuses

Obviously I want to see a victory next week against Duke, but it’d be nice in the two weeks they’ve had to prepare that the offense will actually complete passes between the numbers. That’d definitely assist the passing game woes.
Does Pitt even have those types of passes in the play book???

A 7-5 Pitt team in the ACC championship game would be a black eye for the conference. Let's do it. It'd be fun just to have the team get some national attention for being in a conference title game even if Clemson would be favored by 20. A conference title game loss and bowl loss would give us the rare 7-7 season.

I think 5-7 is more likely but all for divisional chaos.

You recall how 13-9 was the worst officiated game ever as the Big East officials did all they could to get WVU into the BCS championship game? This might be a repeat as I would imagine ACC officials would do all they could to keep an undefeated Clemson into the playoff as the ACC's only playoff hope.

Yes, I'm still mad at the phantom holding calls in 13-9.

Just this year the PAC-12 VP/general counsel called in to the referees to tell them to overturn a targeting call in a Washington State - USC game I believe.

This is Watson's playbook it must be in there somewhere?
But I'm not sure he's gotten through the entire playbook at this time?
